National Salary Surveys
As a Member of the Employer Associations of America (EAA), MEA offers you the opportunity to participate in or purchase a number of survey reports containing national survey data. The information in these surveys is designed to complement the data presented by our regional surveys.

National Executive Compensation Survey
This survey contains compensation information covering almost 50 Top Management and Executive positions not covered by MEA’s regional surveys. Compensation data is presented by employment size, organization type (public or private), industry category, geographic area, and revenue size.

National IT and Engineering Survey
This survey details over 200 position classifications in the fields of engineering and information technology. It also reports on a variety of employment practices and policies related to IT and Engineering, including recruitment and retention techniques, alternative pay strategies, merit increase programs and more.

National Policies & Benefits Survey
This survey reports on health and welfare benefits, part-time benefits, miscellaneous benefits, pay practices, working conditions, paid time off, recruitment, training and development, and employee/community relations as reported by companies across the nation.

National Salary Budget Survey
This survey provides pay adjustment information to assist employers with budgetary planning. Drawn from over 4,100 employers nationwide, the survey covers adjustments given for the past year and the expected increases for the coming year. Data is broken out by region and industry.

National Sales Compensation Survey
This survey covers sales positions not contained in MEA’s regional salary surveys. It reports on base salary, variable pay and total compensation for inside and outside sales staff and sales management staff. Data is broken out for industry, revenue, and geographic area. The survey also provides detailed information on compensation incentive strategies, such as automobile reimbursement and expense allowance practices.

National Wage and Salary Survey
This survey reviews the same jobs covered by MEA’s regional surveys, but summarizes base pay rates for benchmark positions around the country. Information is compiled from 22 associations in 40 major metropolitan/regional areas across the US. Data is reported for 151 positions covering clerical, production and managerial functions.
