Affirmative Action Plans

An Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) is a management tool to measure and make advancement towards equal employment opportunity. An AAP includes the policies, practices, and procedures that a federal contractor implements to ensure that all qualified applicants and employees receive an equal opportunity for recruitment, selection, advancement, and every other term and privilege associated with employment. If your organization has a federal contract, subcontract, or federally assisted construction contract, you may be subject to the affirmative action plan requirements of Executive Order 11246.
